Beeline smartphone hits record high in sales in Armenia, leaving Samsung behind
YEREVAN, May 19. /ARKA/. The branded Beeline Smartphone hit the record high in the company's sales in Armenia, leaving Samsung behind, Andrey Pyatakhin, CEO of ArmenTel (brand Beeline), told journalists on Tuesday.
He said that the company presented Beeline Smart in December 2014 and sold 3,712 smartphones over one month.
Pyatakhin said the company was the absolute leader in the country in sales.
“In early April, the second wave of Beeline Smart sales was launched, and the company sold 4,000 smartphones over one month, and this shows that the smartpfone gives users an opportunity to get access to Internet at a very beneficial price,” he said.
In his words, very often Beeline Smart is the first device for people who get access to Internet for the first time.
“The company attaches a great importance to the sales of branded devices,” Pyatakhin said. “We are trying to provide our clients with such devices at a very beneficial price.”
Beeline Smart smartphones were sold under a special offer – a smartphone and a two-month access to Internet without additional conditions.
The offer implied acquisition of a productive smartphone with two months of unlimited Beeline Premium Internet with a 512KB/sec speed at 33,900 drams.
