Beeline to support Mirzoyan Quartet's tour dedicated to Armenian Genocide centenary
YEREVAN, April 18. /ARKA/. ArmenTel (trading as Beeline) will support the Mirzoyan Quartet's tour dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide, the press office of the telecommunication company reported on Saturday.
The quartet will perform with George Pehlivanian in the Yerevan National Opera and Ballet House on April 18, and on April 21 the quartet will travel to Russia and then in France. It will tour Russia and France together with Russian-German pianist Mikhail Mordvinov.
Beeline CEO in Armenia Andrey Pyatahkin, stressing the significance of support for events dedicated to the centenary of Armenian Genocide, said that it is very important that such events enhance young people and foreign citizens' awareness of the genocide, its international recognition and prevention of such tragedies in the future.
The musicians, in return, thanked Beeline for its consistent and long sponsorship and Tashir Group for supporting them at an international contest in October 2014, where the quartet won the first prize.
