Digital technologies to help young Armenians in creation of visual effects
YEREVAN, February 27. /ARKA/. Caroline Pires, the head of Nerdero company and Sarah Mosses, the head of Together Films company, who arrived in Armenia as the guests of the 15th Festival of British Films, conducted master classes for young Armenians, ArmenTel telecom operator (trading as Beeline brand), which helped conduct the festival, reported today.
Caroline Pires, who has been working for many years in the field of visual effects, conducted February 20-24 master classes for students of Tumo center for creative technologies. Her company Nerdero is an online platform that brings together filmmakers.
Sarah Mosses is a film production and marketing specialist, working mainly with independent film producers and directors. She conducted master classes for the students of the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University on February 20-21 to teach them the skills of building a marketing plan for films devoted to human rights.
"We are very happy to see the festival expand the frames and the essence of master classes with every passing year. Digital technology will help the Armenian youth in the field of visual effects and filmmaking,' ArmenTel CEO Andrei Pyatakhin said.
The festival was organized by the Armenian office of British Council in cooperation with the British embassy in Armenia and with the sponsorship of Beeline. The films were screened at Moskva cinema in Yerevan on February 18-24.
