Dilijan to host annual innovative business forum
YEREVAN, November 8. /ARKA/. Armenia’s resort town of Dilijan will host the fifth annual Innovative Business Forum on November 10-11, Karen Vardanyan, the executive director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), told journalists on Wednesday. He said this year’s forum will be held under the slogan "Towards the New Reality".
"A high-tech country can not develop without innovative processes, which in turn requires a platform – the one we have created in Dilijan to discuss the introduction of innovations in production," Vardanyan said. He noted the need to expand the range of its activities not only in terms of introducing innovations in education and intellectual property, but also in various sectors of economy.
"Technologies are changing rapidly, and this requires constant innovations to adapt to modern trends, including in the field of industrial automation. And the more end products and services, the more they will be used, "Vardanyan said.
To participate in the forum experts from Germany, Belgium and Romania will arrive in Armenia with the support of the program "Assistance to the development of small and medium business in Armenia," co-financed by the EU and the German Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation.
The first international forum of business innovations was held in Dilijan in 2013 by UITE under the high patronage of the prime minister of Armenia. -0-
