Microsoft to support projects developing startups in Armenia
YEREVAN, June 21. /ARKA/. Microsoft Regional Office General Manager Ronald Binkofski expressed willingness to support projects aimed at developing startups in Armenia as met with Vahan Martirosyan, Armenian transport, communication and information technology minister, on Tuesday.
Binkofski is quoted in the ministry’s press release as saying that the company will be happy to share its experience in this area, especially taking into account that startups need consulting for developing their business ties with foreign companies.
Martirosyan, on his side, expressing readiness to support IT startups in Armenia, stressed that the ministry is doing whatever is necessary to develop startup projects.
Cyber security, prospects for establishment of a regional data center and introduction of new technologies in transport and traffic were discussed at the meeting as well.
Binkofski said that the company can offer already developed solutions, which are successfully being applied in other countries. --0----
