Mulberry electronic document management system to become operational in Armenian parliament in 2015
YEREVAN, October 29. / ARKA /. The Mulberry electronic document management system will become operational in the Armenian parliament in 2015, chief of parliament staff Hrayr Tovmasyan said today at a parliamentary discussion on next year’s state draft budget.
He said the 2015 budget earmarks funds for Mulberry installment. He said this system is successfully used by many government agencies.
"I hope that in 2015 the Mulberry system will be adapted to work in the parliament, enabling us to manage the lion's share of documents electronically. It will also facilitate and accelerate all procedures related to submission and handling of bills," said Tovmasyan.
Mulberry is a computer program designed for efficient management of document flow, centralized storage of electronic versions of documents and attached materials, registration of document workflow history and control exercised at all stages of document movement, provision of execution control, quick search of documents, uniformity of work with documents, simultaneous work of several subdivisions and exclusion of document loss at public administration bodies. -0-
