New data storage server of ministry of emergencies to safeguard governance under crisis – Yirikyan
YEREVAN, September 3. /ARKA/. The newly launched data storage server at Armenia’s ministry of emergencies will increase the governance efficiency under possible crisis conditions, general director of VivaCell-MTS Ralf Yirikyan said.
The server was opened on Tuesday September 2. Some 50 million drams was provided by VivaCell-MTS and 12.4 million drams by UNDP for the project.
Information security is a key challenge in the modern world, which, along with the challenges faced by Armenia today, made us modernize information systems to meet ultra-modern security requirements, Yirikyan said in a joint press conference with head of the ministry of emergencies Armen Yeritsyan on Tuesday.
The server is located at the crisis management center of Armenia in a seismically resistant building to ensure uninterrupted operations under emergency conditions. ($1 – 411.26drams). –0—
