New souvenir sheet with two stamps dedicated to Armenia-Iran joint issue theme cancelled in Yerevan
YEREVAN, October 25. /ARKA/. A souvenir sheet with two stamps dedicated to the theme “Armenia-Iran joint issue” has been cancelled and put into circulation today in the premises of the New Technologies Development and Training Center of Armenia’s national postal operator Haypost CJSC.
Haypost said the souvenir sheet with two postage stamps depicts Armenian and Persian ornaments. The postage stamp with nominal value of 300 drams depicts the Persian Blue Mosque in Yerevan and the postage stamp with nominal value of 350 drams depicts the Armenian Holy Savior Cathedral in the Iranian city of Isfahan.
The souvenir sheet with two stamps is printed by Cartor printing house in France with the print run of 20 000 pcs. The author of the souvenir sheet’s design is HayPost designer Vahagn Mkrtchyan.
The souvenir sheet with two stamps was cancelled by deputy minister of communications, transport and information technologies Arman Khachatryan, deputy ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Ali Naser Sobhanipour, the acting CEO of HayPost CJSC Haik Avagyan and the p President of the Union of Philatelists of Armenia Hovik Musayelyan. -0-
