Representatives of Armenian and Russian IT companies to discuss new generation formation and brain drain
YEREVAN, March 31. /ARKA/. Representatives of technology companies of Armenia and Russia will discuss issues related to the new generation formatin and brain drain on April 1 in AYB high school in Yerevan, the press office of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises of Armenia reported on Monday. The aim of the meeting to be held as part of IT Summit 2015 is to shape Armenia's technology capacity, to spur dialogue, business contacts and cooperation between Armenian and Russian IT companies. Karen Vardanyan, executive director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises, will present engineering laboratories in Armenian schools to his Russian colleagues. The guests will also get familiar with activities of Nairi laboratory and AYB Educational Foundation. “This meeting is very important for IT sector development in Armenia, since this is an excellent platform for introducing local successful IT enterprises' projects to Russia's influential companies, and it also gives an opportunity to learn demand at Russian market and its peculiarities,” Vardanyan said. Heads and representatives of some 100 flagship IT companies, including Yandex, 1C, HUAWEI, Samsung, Dell, Acer, Siemens, IBM, Fujitsu and GfK, will attend the event. Representatives of Russia's IT companies are now in Armenia for IT Summit 2015, which will take place from April 1 to 3. Prospects for development of Armenian and Russian IT markets amidst global developments, approaches of analytic companies and market players, analyses and forecasts as well as import replacement problems, integration in world market and relations with public sector will be discussed at the summit..-----0----
