Roaming in EEU may be canceled in 2018-2019
YEREVAN, August 16. /ARKA/. Members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) may eliminate roaming among themselves in 2018-2019, Anatoly Golomolzin, deputy head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, said in a televised interview with Russian RBC TV channel.
Earlier, the chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian parliament Valentina Matvienko called for eliminating roaming between Russia and Belarus. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called this proposal reasonable.
The head of the Russian ministry of Communications Nikolay Nikiforov supported the idea, saying, however, that it should be the decision of the mobile operators. -0-
