Rostelecom in Armenia unveils student Trio tariff plan
YEREVAN, September 5. /ARKA/. Rostelecom in Armenia has launched a new tariff plan designed for students, the company’s CEO Hayk Faramazyan said today. According to him, the new tariff plan, called "Student Trio", provides students with a number of advantages.
More specifically, in addition to about 50 best television channels, 40 MB/s Internet, over 500 free minutes in fixed networks the new tariff plan, worth 10,000 drams a month, the students will get a higher-speed internet - 50 Mb / s, as well as 10 additional channels - Ren TV, ID Xtra, Nat Geo Wild, Travel + Adventure, MTV Hits, Kinohit, Kinomix, Comedy Channel, Match, Football 1 and Live).
According to him, the new tariff plan is quite attractive due to additional services designed to meet the interests of students, including training and music channels. Students can connect to it until November 1 by presenting their student cards. The new tariff plan is available to all students, both from public and private universities.
The service is available throughout Armenia, where Rostelecom’s network is present, particularly in Yerevan and 20 cities across the country.
GNC-ALFA, Rostelecom’s Armenian subsidiary, began promotion and sale of broadband Internet, IP-TV and a new generation of IP-telephony in Armenia under the brand of Rostelecom from 2012 December.
The company’s fiber-optic network covers 80% of the territory of Armenia, extending to more about 3000 km. The network is connected to the main regional backbones and major traffic exchange sites, as well as international channels via Georgia and Iran.
