TUMO Center for Creative Technologies to build branch in Syunik province's capital
YEREVAN, December 14. /ARKA/. The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies will build a branch in Kapan, the administrative center of Armenia's Syunik marz (province).
The government approved today a decision to allocate an area of 1,300 square meters to the Simonyan educational foundation, the founder of TUMO -.
The Simonyan foundation is to invest about 300 million drams (about $745 thousand) in the construction of the center in the next 2 years.
Currently, there are several TUMO-boxes (mobile mini-labs) in the town, where teenagers study free programming, design and tics.
TUMO Center for Creative Technologies (TUMO) was launched in Armenia in 2011. It offers teenagers free modern technologies courses. In 2016, TUMO was ranked number one innovative school in the world by the French magazine "We demain."
TUMO is headquartered in Yerevan, with foreign branches operating in Moscow, Paris, Beirut, Berlin, Tirana, Kiev and some other major cities outside Armenia. -0-
