Ucom acquires exclusive rights for broadcasting of Grand Slam tennis tournament via cable television
YEREVAN, June 27. /ARKA/. Armenian Ucom telecom provider said today it has acquired exclusive rights for broadcasting of the Grand Slam tennis tournament via cable television.
The first part of the tournament - the Wimbledon tournament- can be enjoyed on Eurosport channels from 27 June to 10 July.
“Wimbledon, as always, is brought to you as a world of elegance, where style and exquisite taste prevail, where cool-headedness, self-possession, and endurance rule. Our customers will witness the best all-English tradition tennis”, chief executive officer of Ucom Hayk Yesayan said.
Ucom subscribers will also have the opportunity to participate in a quiz, to be conducted by the company on its Facebook page. The winner will be chosen at random and will receive a small gift from the Eurosport channel.
Recently, Armenian Public TV insisted on its exclusive rights to broadcast the European Football Championship 2016. As a result Ucom cable television subscribers appeared to be unable to watch the games on cable television.-0-
