Ucom announces new online service for customers
YEREVAN, March 10. / ARKA /. Ucom telecommunications company has announced today a new online service designed to enable its customers to manage their personal data without visiting the company’s sales and service offices. Gor Kroyan, Ucom's marketing expert, said the new online service enables Ucom customers to enter a new or renew the effectrive contract, modify or update the company’s services, change the tariff plan, activate Wi-Fi service or sign up for additional services. Also, if a subscriber is signed for UNET, UTV or Uphone services, he/she can replace them with Triple Play (3 in 1) service. Ucom CEO Hayk Yesayan said a registered customer can use his/her mobile devices to change the tariff plan and to oversee Internet and television- related issues. He said the company plans to use the online services to expand its activities in the market of Internet services. Ucom telecom (Universal Communications) was founded in 2007. With assistance from Ericsson, the company created a network of broadband access for providing Internet services, IP-TV and fixed telephony. -0-
