uCom intends to enter Armenia’s mobile telecommunication market – press office
YEREVAN, July 27. /ARKA/. On Friday, Naira Karmirshalyan, the Ucom press secretary, commenting the negotiations the company is running to buy 100% of Orange Armenia shares, told ARKA News Agency that Ucom is going to offer mobile telecommunication services to clients.
“We can place it on record that Ucom provides ultramodern and distinct for their quality services, and mobile telecommunication will become a part of them replenishing the range of already provided services,” she said.
Karmirshalyan added that the company will continue providing its high-quality IP television, broadband Internet and fixed telephony services.
She, however, refrained from forecasting particular results of the negotiations.
“This stage of negotiations began just now and it is not clear how it will end, we can’t make forecasts,” Karmirshalyan said.
UCom (Universal Communications) established in 2007 provides telecommunication services. The company, under support from Ericsson, has created a broadband access network embracing Yerevan. It provides Internet, IP television and fixed telephony services. -0---
