Veon Armenia launches BeeMoney e-wallet
YEREVAN, October 19 /ARKA/. Veon Armenia telecommunication company (trading as Beeline in Armenia) has launched an e-wallet called BeeMoney. The company said in a press release that the mobile application is designed to pay for utilities, communication services, taxes, fines, for parking, for shopping in pharmacies, as well as pay bills in cafes and restaurants.
The application can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. After quick registration and linking to a bank card, users will be able to access all the features of the wallet, which can be replenished from a bank card. BeeMoney clients can also transfer money from their virtual account to the cards of all Armenian banks.
BeeMoney wallet opens up wide opportunities for users to pay for social networking services and Internet resources: they can transfer money to other e-wallets- Yandex.Money, Webmoney, QiWi, pay for online games, etc.
"The day when the mobile phone will completely replace the wallet has not yet arrived, but Beeline tried to bring our new product to that day as close as possible. Today, we are not just talking about paying utility bills, but about the full and convenient use of a phone for making money transfer, shopping, and even paying bills in a cafe," said Veon Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
Mher Areklyan, head of EasyPay company, said the company intends to expand the number of e-wallet users and increase the network of partners using the BeeMoney wallet (created on the EasyWallet platform), as well as constantly improve the quality and availability of the services provided with Beeline.
