Winners of DigiCode annual youth contest of applied programming contest already named in Armenia
YEREVAN, February 14. /ARKA/. The winners of DigiCode annual youth contest of applied programming contest in Armenia are already known.
The contest, organized by Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) with the support of Ucom, took place on February 11 at Gyumri Technology Center (GTC). Its general partners were the Enterprise Incubator Foundation and Huawei.
As many as 40 schoolchildren have been selected from 360 applicants.
Alexander Yesayan, chairman of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises, said that technologic education is one of strategic directions of the union’s activity.
“It is not a coincidence that the contest was held in Gyumri, and the participants represented all the provinces of Armenia, as well as Artsakh, since the UITE is regularly conducting educational programs and contests for schoolchildren from all regions,” he said.
Aren Badalyan from Gavar, with his Interesting Mathematics game, and Razmik Sargsyan from Gyumri, with his Battle for the Second Half, became winners in The Best Game category.
Helen Kosoyan from Smart City Center in Yerevan, with her Smart Elevator, and Vahagn Zargaryan from Artsvaberd, with his Physics Lab, were best in the category The Best Virtual Laboratory category.
Aram Khachatryan from Vanadzor, with his Katakana, was singled out in the category The Best Idea.
In the category the Best Design, the winner was Vahe Asloyan with his After World.
Kolya Margaryan from Tsovagyukh village received a recognition prize for his game ‘In the Wonderful World of Figures’. --0---
