Mobile and Internet operators in Armenia paid AMD 8.6 bln in taxes in the first quarter
YEREVAN, April 26. /ARKA/. Major mobile and internet operators in Armenia- Viva Armenia, Team Telecom Armenia, Ucom and GNC-Alfa (trading as Rostelecom) paid AMD 8.6 billion in taxes for January-March 2024, the State Revenue Committee said.
Of that amount some AMD 8.3 billion were collected by tax authorities and AMD 50.5 million by customs authorities.
Viva Armenia (8th place) paid 4.6 billion drams. Ucom Company ranked 28th, paid AMD 1.9 billion. Telecom Armenia paid AMD 1.8 billion (31st place). GNC-ALFA paid 251.1 million drams (280th place).
According to official data, Armenia's 1000 largest taxpayers paid more than AMD 387.1 billion in taxes in the first quarter of 2024. ($1 - 388.60 drams). -0-
