Premier: Number Of Internet Users In Armenia May Exceed 300,000 This Year
YEREVAN, May 11. /ARKA/. The number of Internet users in Armenia may exceed 300,000 this year, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said on Wednesday.
“The number of Internet users doubled in 2010 reaching 175,000 and is expected to exceed 300,000 in 2011,” he said.
The premier said that information technologies are increasingly becoming popular in the country, and all the officials of the country open own resources letting them directly communicate with people and answer their questions.
“I think this is one of the most important factors of the modern world,” Sargsyan said..-0---
