Six families in Armenia’s Kotayk province benefit from VivaCell-MTS and Fuller Center for Housing joint program
YEREVAN, March 23. /ARKA/. VivaCell-MTS Telecommunication Company and the Fuller Center for Housing has completed their joint program aimed at improvement of living conditions of six families in Kotayk province’s Getashen and Kamaris communities, the telecommunication company’s pres office reported on Wednesday.
One house has been contrasted and two houses have been repaired under this program.
According to the news release, 135 families (677 people) have been provided with good housing over five years of this program implementation and it has become known that not a single beneficiary of this program had left Armenia.
“We tried to assess this program together,” Ralph Yirikian, VivaCell-MTS CEO, is quoted I the press release. “If we manage to solve the problem of even one person giving him/her hope and strengthening his/her determination not to leave the homeland, it will mean that the program is important and justified.”
VivaCell-MTS has invested more than AMD 333 million in this program over five years.
Problems of 42 families were solved in 2016 alone.
VivaCell-MTS (K-Telecom CJSC), mobile telecommunication company, started operating in Armenia in 2005.
The company’s activity embraces the entire territory of Armenia.
Mobile Telesystems (MTS), the largest mobile telecommunication operator in Russia and the CIS, holds 80% of the company’s shares, and the remaining 20% belong to Lebanese Fattouch Group. ($1 – AMD 483.47). -0---
