Mobile and Internet operators in Armenia paid AMD 39.2 bln in taxes

YEREVAN, January 26. /ARKA/. Major mobile and internet operators in Armenia - MTS Armenia (trading as Viva-MTS), Team Telecom Armenia, Ucom and GNC-Alfa (trading as Rostelecom Armenia) paid about AMD 39.2 billion in various taxes in 2023, according to the list of Armenia's 1000 largest taxpayers, published by the State Revenue Committee.

Some AMD 38.9 billion were collected by tax authorities and AMD 324.8 million by customs bodies.

MTS Armenia (13th place in the list) paid 15.8 billion drams. Ucom dropped to the 19th place, having paid AMD 12.4 bln. Telecom Armenia paid 9.1 billion drams (26th place) and GNC-ALFA  paid AMD 1.9 billion (162nd place).

According to official data, Armenia's 1000 largest taxpayers paid AMD 1 trillion 710 billion in taxes in 2023. ($1 - AMD 404.21). -0-
