Russian information & computer technologies industry association to hold its annual summit in Armenia
YEREVAN, April 1. / ARKA /. Information & Computer Technologies Industry Association, the most representative non-profit union of Russia's ICT industry, has chosen the Armenian capital Yerevan as the venue of its annual IT summit, slated for April 2-3, the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) of Armenia said today.
UITE said the gathering will bring together top executives and engineers form around 100 Russian IT companies, including “1C”, “Yandex”, “Huawei”, “Samsung”, “Dell”, “Acer”, “Siemens”, “IBM”, “Fujitsu”, “GfK” Armenian government officials and Russian ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin will also attend the event.
The summit will discuss, in particular, the prospects of IT market development in Russia and Armenia against the background of global trends, technology transfer, integration into the world market, relationship with the public sector and many other relating issues.-0-
