DigiTech 2011 EXPO to feature products and designs of Armenian engineers in different sectors
YEREVAN, October 5. / ARKA /. The seventh DigiTech 2011 Expo will feature the products and designs developed by Armenian engineers in aviation, petroleum, automotive, seismic, energy, telecommunication, and bioengineering sectors, Aram Salatyan, director of National Instruments company, told ARKA.
According to him, interesting and complex engineering solutions developed by Armenian experts, including for foreign companies, will be presented at the Expo to show the level of technological progress in Armenia. He highlighted the participation of students in the exhibition, saying it will inspire young people to receive technical education and create their own start-ups.
The seventh DigiTech Expo will take place October 7-9 in Armenia’s capital Yerevan. Some 115 companies have applied to participate in the Expo, by almost 70% more than in 2010. The Expo aims at creating a favorable business environment for companies, as well as state, business and individual users of information and communication technologies (ICT) and high-tech; presenting the latest products of Armenian and foreign ICT/high-tech companies; promoting development of business linkages between Armenian and international businesses About 20,000 visitors are expected to come and see the EXPO.
