Armenia’s National Geology Fund to become more available to investors
YEREVAN, August 2. /ARKA/. The press office of the Armenian ministry of energy infrastructures and natural resources reported Wednesday that 81% of the information kept in the National Geology Fund of Armenia has already been digitalized.
The fund’s entire database will be available before the end of this year.
Shushanik Kerobyan, chief of the ministry’s division in charge of extractable resources and entrails, said the digitalized information is now available on the website.
“Digitalization of the remaining information is under way now,” she said.
In her words, all the 1,380 ore mines with their digitalized passports issued over a period between 2014 and 2017 are available on the website.
The availability of geological information will make this area more attractive to investors – they will be able to get the fund’s information without additional expenses. --0---
