Russian armenian businessmen to invest in Hayland.am
YEREVAN, June 7. /ARKA/. Hayland.am Armenian social network said it has attracted Russian investments to develop and scale out the project.
Head of the project Artashes Mkrtchyan said it is a substantial amount for the Armenian reality, but refrained from giving an exact figure.
According to the report, the investors are Russian businessmen – founder of Hayland.am and co-founder of a number of international Internet projects Alexander Smbatyan and member of the directors’ board of Rostelecom Sergey Azatyan.
Hayland.am team has developed a technical and ideological concept that takes into account ethnic and psychological characteristics of the Armenian nation, says the report.
After the concept is applied, Hayland.am will be a social media space to generate and disseminate unique content rather than a simple communication place for Armenians all over the world, says the report. The new Hayland will have an opportunity of categorizing the content per format, topic and location.
The completely new design of the Hayland is developed by German design group headed by art-director Oliver Wagner (former creative director of LycosEurope).
The renewed network is to be launched in July.
Hayland.am All-Armenian social network was founded in 2008. The current number of its users is 155,000. The team plants to bring up the number of the users to 1.5 million over two years.–0--
