VivaCell-MTS offers new MTS Hay-Fi mobile modem
YEREVAN, January 18. /ARKA/. VivaCell-MTS offers MTS Hay-Fi device, a small mobile modem designed to create and share internet connection with friends, family members or mobile workgroups, the company’s press office reports.
According to the press release, the benefits of this convenient device, fitting a pocket and able to satisfy everyday’s needs for mobile internet, are the opportunity to provide Internet and create a local area network for up to 10 devices, including a laptop, a tablet, a smartphone, a video- or photocamera, a video gaming device, etc as well as the opportunity to set-up a security-enabled wireless network access and the opportunity to send and receive SMS directly from the computer.
For activating the “MTS Hay-Fi” modem, one just needs to ins ert the corresponding mobile card in to it, and connect the Hay-Fi modem to any of the above-mentioned devices.
“If a device does not support Wi-Fi, it can be connected to the “MTS Hay-Fi” via a USB cable,” the press release says.
The price of the “MTS Hay-Fi” is AMD 32000. It is compatible with any of the four “MTS Connect” tariff plans - MTS Connect Unlimited, MTS Connect Unlimited +, MTS Connect 256 and MTS Connect Student.
In case of subscribing for at least 18 months, the modem is provided to the subscriber on special terms.
Users of MTS Connect Unlimited and MTS Connect Unlimited + will have modem for free, and subscribers to MTS Connect 256 and MTS Connect Student have to pay AMD 5,000 and AMD 3,000 respectively.
