Armenia’s Akhtala to develop into smart city thanks to UITE efforts
YEREVAN, March 23. /ARKA/. The Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) and the municipality of Akhtala, a mining center in Armenia, signed Wednesday a cooperation memorandum to implement joint programs on business development, the UITE press office reports.
According to the news release, he parties will try to attract investments for Armat engineering laboratories as well as education and entrepreneurship development programs by joint efforts.
The UITE and the city authorities are convinced that technology education will give Akhtala competitive advantage.
The UITE was established in 2000 to protect economic interests of IT companies and promote this industry development. --0---
