Armenian mobile and internet operators paid 12.3 billion drams in various taxes for the first half of 2017
YEREVAN, JULY 27. /ARKA/. Armenian mobile and Internet operators paid a total of 12.3 billion drams in various taxes for the first half of 2017, down from 14.4 billion drams paid for the first half of 2016, according to the State Revenue Committee.
According to the published data, VivaCell-MTS, ArmenTel, Ucom and Rostelecom paid more than 10.8 billion drams in taxes and 1,47 million drams as customs duties.
ArmenTel (trading as Beeline) paid 4.45 billion drams (13th place), 24.5% less than in the same period last year. VivaCell-MTS paid 4.6 billion drams (11th place), down 2.1% compared to the same period in 2016. Ucom’s taxes increased by 12% to 2.8 billion drams (18th place). GNC -Alfa (trading as Rostelecom) paid 298.2 million drams against 351.8 million drams last year (220th place).
Overall, Armenia's 1000 largest corporate taxpayers paid more than 378.4 billion drams in various taxes in the frist half of the year, by 9.1% or 31.7 billion drams more when compared to the first half of 2016, ($1 – 478.73 drams). --0—
