ArmenTel improves 3G network coverage in Armenian capital city
YEREVAN, March 23. / ARKA /. ArmenTel telecommunications company (trading as Beeline) has improved the quality of its GSM and 3G network coverage in the Armenian capital.
The company said in a press release that new base stations and signal amplifiers for the third and second generation networks have been installed in the central part of Yerevan -Komitas street and Nork-Marash administrative district.
The company said the number of its mobile subscribers is on the constant rise, including also the number of mobile Internet users.
'We thank all the customers who have opted for Beeline services, and will continue to improve the service and network coverage in order to make our customers feel as comfortable as possible and continue enjoying our simple and convenient services,' ArmenTel CEO Andrei Pyatakhin is quoted as saying.
According to the press release, in 2014 Beeline installed a record number of GSM and 3G base stations in Armenia.
ArmenTel is owned fully by VimpelCom. It provides fixed and mobile telephony services as well as high-speed Internet.-0-
