Beeline in Armenia shifts to new level of corporate management

YEREVAN, November 23. /ARKA/. Veon Armenia telecommunications operator, trading as Beeline, is shifting to a new level of corporate management as part of its global transformation, the telecom operator said today.

It said the transformation process embraces all employees of the company, who were divided into several groups and participated in the competition #BeTheChange. The goal of the groups was to develop solutions to simplify the operation of the company.

According to Beeline in Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin, ‘it is logical that the transition to modern management models is carried out by using agile and lean methods’.

Alexander Matyushka, director of operation performance at Veon group of companies, noted that telecommunication companies around the world are faced with the problem of positioning in the new digital world.

"We are confident that the new business directions will meet the needs of our 235 million customers, which is why we ourselves turn to the use of digital platforms to organize the internal work of the company and put emphasis on the provision of digital services of a new generation," he said.

The head of the transformation process at Beeline in Armenia Arshak Muradyan said that the goal of this global strategic process is to transform the company into a new generation organization that has passed the optimization phase and uses modern management models. 

In particular, the company's operational costs were reduced, corporate culture was improved, modern technical facilities were introduced in offices and workplaces, logistics processes were also improved, while global structures such as GSS and HUB were introduced. Also expert centers were created, for example, IT-Hub in Armenia.
