Beeline museum joins night of museum event

YEREVAN, May 17. /ARKA/. Armenia-based ArmenTel telecom operator (trading as Beeline) said today its Communication Museum has joined the Night of Museums international event and will be open to visitors on May 18 from 09:00 to 18:00, and on May 20 - from 15:00 to 21:00.

The Beeline Communication Museum enables visitors to get acquainted with the evolution of telecommunications in Armenia, see communication equipment beginning  from the  twentieth century to the most modern digital means of fixed, mobile and Internet communications. The museum is located at 24/1, Azatutyan street, in Yerevan.

The Night of Museums was first held in Berlin in 1997. Armenia joined it in 2005. This year 113 museums in Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) will take part in it.

ArmenTel has been a 100% subsidiary of VimpelCom since 2007. It provides fixed and mobile services. -0-
