Beeline project participants visit Ayb School
YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. Young boys and girls from five Armenian provinces, involved in a joint project "New Technologies in Community Development," implemented by the VEON Armenian telecommunications company (trading as Beeline), the Children's Development Fund and PicsArt, visited the Ayb School in Yerevan.
Beeline said in a press release that the participants of the project visited the Fablab, opened at the school together with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and were impressed by innovative chemistry, physics and biology laboratories, as well as the Lego laboratory, a media laboratory, art studios and the Fablab library.
"Beeline attaches great importance to the development of education and the introduction of advanced learning methods, especially in the field of new technologies. We welcome the interest of young people. I am sure that the visit to Ayb School will inspire the participants of our project to learn in depth the modern technologies and change the life in the country for the better," said CEO of Beeline in Armenia, Andrei Pyatakhin.
As part of the "New Technologies in Community Development" project , participants photograph problems in their communities and use the PicsArt application to model their solutions.
