Beeline resumes cooperation with EasyPay terminals
YEREVAN, February 16. /ARKA/. ArmenTel telecom operator (trading as Beeline) that ceased cooperation with TelCell, Idram and EasyPay payments terminals because of what it described as ‘unequal commission policy’ of the above-mentioned companies in relation to its customers, has resumed cooperation with EasyPay today.
In a pres release issued on February 15 ArmenTel explained that no extra commission is charged by other terminals for mobile services payments if the amount is more than 1000 drams, while TelCell, Idram and EasyPay charge commissions for Beeline customers’ mobile services for payments exceeding 10,000 drams only.
ArmenTel said also its proposals to work on equal market conditions with other operators (not to charge commission fees for payments 1000 drams and more) were rejected making it take measures to protect its own interests and those of its customers.
According to another press release, issued today Beeline mobile subscribers can make payments by using EasyPay terminals on the following conditions: if the payment is from 10 to 50 drams no commission fee is charged; if the payment is from 51 to 999 drams the commission fee is 30 drams, while payments from 1000 to 70,000 drams will be exempt from commission fees as well.
Beeline said that payments for services (without commission fees) are accepted by all its sales offices, banks, at www.beeline.am and Beeline Armenia application.
ArmenTel is entirely owned by VimpelCom. It provides fixed and mobile telephony services as well as high-speed Internet. ($ 1 - 486.56 drams). -0-
