Boomerang software exports 95% of its products
YEREVAN, August 1. /ARKA/. Boomerang Software, a component of Technology Centre of Excellence, sells 95% of its products to other countries, according to Richard Bezjian, head of the Technology Centre of Excellence, which has apart from Boomerang Software also Global Energize Services and Gallery Systems.
Speaking to local reporters together with economy minister Tigran Davtyan he said the major customers are in the U.S., Canada, Germany, France, Belgium and other European countries. “Our goal is to create such software, which complies with best software developed by leading international companies,’ he said.
He said Boomerang Software has developed about 50 different software programs applied by leading global companies and cooperates with companies such as Oracle, Microsoft, IBM and Atos.
On his side Tigran Davtyan praised the company for being oriented to external customers, ‘because on the one hand Armenian IT engineers do not seek to leave the country and on the other hand they are involved in the “global movement” and can feel themselves part of the global economy.
Boomerang Software was founded in 1997. It deals with developing software and providing IT outsourcing services. The company was later reorganized into Technological Center of Excellence, including Boomerang Software, Global Energize Services and Gallery Systems. The Center has about 100 employees. -0-
