Competition of IT projects aimed at the development of economy to start in Armenia
YEREVAN, March 30. /ARKA/. Competition of innovation projects aimed at the development of various sectors of economy with the help of telecommunication technologies will be organized in Armenia, press-service of the Uni on of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) informed ARKA News Agency.
The competition is organized by UITE, Innovation Center Microsoft with the support of Business-Incubator of Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, International University “Eurasia” and consulting company Key Solutions. Applications are accepted by April 12.
The competition is conducted by the following nominations: “State services”, “Electronic trade”, “Efficiency of telecommunication technologies in various spheres of business”, “New and innovation directions of business”.
The event will take place in three phases. In the first phase the participants will introduce their ideas, of which the most innovative and competitive ones will be sel ected. After it, upon the wish of the participants and by the results of the specialists’ assessments working groups will be created which in the second and third phases of the competition with the support of the mentors will build business-models of their innovative ideas and will try to bring them to the status of the pilot prototype or working model.
The winner teams can introduce their works in the traditional international exhibition-forum DigiTec Business in Yerevan and in the competition of IT startups within the Eurasian international youth economic forum.
The specialists will prepare relevant business-plans and documents for seeking funds.
Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) was established in 2000 with the purpose of the protection of economic interests of the companies in this sphere by promoting business development, encouragement of studies in IT sphere. Currently, UITE includes about 40 companies presenting the sphere of high and information technologies in Armenia. --0--
