MTS closed sale of its Armenian subsidiary to Cypriot company
YEREVAN, January 24. /ARKA/. MTS announced the closing of a deal to sell 100% shares of its subsidiary in Armenia to Fedilco Group Limited, a Cyprus-registered company.
"MTS PJSC announces the closing of the transaction on sale of 100% shares of its subsidiary in the Republic of Armenia MTS Armenia CJSC (trade mark Viva-MTS) to Fedilco Group Limited (Republic of Cyprus), MTS press service said in a statement published by Russian media.
The report notes that the deal also includes MobiDram payment system, a 100% subsidiary of MTS Armenia, providing financial services in the local market. The cost of the deal is not disclosed.
MTS said that all corporate approvals necessary for the transaction were obtained, as well as authorizations from the regulatory authorities of the Republic of Armenia.
