Pashinyan discussed with new MTS-Armenia shareholder further development of company
YEREVAN, March 15. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received today MTS-Armenia telecom operator’s shareholder Konstantin Sokolov and MTS-Armenia Board Chairman Tigran Gasparyan, the government press service reported.
It said a set of issues related to development of MTS Armenia CJSC, 20% shares of which were donated to the Government, were discussed.
On February 29, the Armenian government accepted 100 thousand shares of MTS Armenia CJSC (Viva-MTS brand) as a gift from Fedilco Group Limited, a Cyprus-based company, which is equal to 20% of the total number of shares.
In January 2024 Viva-MTS )a subsidiary of Russian MTS) was sold to Fedilco Group Limited registered in Cyprus. Its ultimate beneficiaries are professional investors Jae Jang and Konstantin Sokolov. -0-
