Resource room for children with autism and special needs opened in one of Yerevan schools
YEREVAN, March 21. /ARKA/. The International Child Development Center, with support from VivaCell-MTS Telecommunication Company and the Armenian Electric Networks, has opened a Resource Room in one of Yerevan’s schools for children with autism and special needs, the press office of VivaCell-MTS reports.
Specialists at the center have worked out a special curriculum for 30 kids.
VivaCell-MTS is the key partner to the International Child Development Center from 2007. Since then, the telecommunication company has provided over AMD 170 million to the center for recovery therapy for children with autism and 180 kids have taken part in this program.
The experimental model of inclusive education for the first time was introduced in 2010.
VivaCell-MTS (K-Telecom CJSC), mobile telecommunication company, started operating in Armenia in 2005.
The company’s activity embraces the entire territory of Armenia.
Mobile Telesystems (MTS), the largest mobile telecommunication operator in Russia and the CIS, holds 80% of the company’s shares, and the remaining 20% belong to Lebanese Fattouch Group. --0---
