Rostelecom’s flagship office opened Tuesday in Yerevan
YEREVAN, September 16. /ARKA/. Rostelecom’s flagship office opened Tuesday in Yerevan’s Republic Square.
GNC-ALFA (Rostelecom brand) CEO Hayk Faramazyan said this is the company’s 20th sales and services together with other six sales centers in Armenia’s cities.
He said that the central office opened today in Yerevan will serve not only individuals, but also corporate clients.
Rostelecom Executive Vice-president Alexander Rogovoy said the company came to Armenia more than two year ago, and it provides services in the country’s 20 cities, including Yerevan.
He thinks the opening of the central office in Yerevan will ensure success to the company at the country’s telecommunication market.
Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volinkin said in his address read out at the opening that Rostelecom is among Russia’s leading telecommunication companies and that its experience would be useful in Armenia.
In his words, Rostelecom has invested much in creation of modern telecommunication networks in Yerevan and provincial cities. He expressed hope that the company’s services will become available in all the province of Armenia very soon.
GNC-ALFA CJSC, Rostelecom’s Armenian subsidiary, started operating in Armenia in December 2012 under Rostelecom brand.
In late 2012, Rostelecom offered high-speed Internet, telephony and IP television services in Armenia’s residents.
The company’s fiber-optic network covers 80% of Armenia’s territory. --0--
