TUMO Los Angeles will operate in North Hollywood
YEREVAN, February 16. /ARKA/. Yerevan-based TUMO Center for Creative Technology announced the start of construction of a building for its Los Angeles branch.
The center is being created with the support of Los Angeles city authorities and California State Assemblyman Adrin Nazaryan, who recently took part in laying the foundation stone of the building.
The event was also attended by Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, City Council Speaker Paul Krekorian and TUMO founders Sam and Silva Simonian.
Over the course of a year, the center will open its doors to 1,500 teenage students who will study game development, animation, filmmaking, graphic design, music, robotics, 3D modeling and programming for free, according to TUMO's Facebook.
TUMO LA will be the flagship center in the U.S., with plans to build a large network not only in California but across the country. --0--
