Bolivia expresses interest in Armenian tablets and smartphones

YEREVAN, April 27. /ARKA/. The first official delegation from Bolivia will visit Armenia on May 21, the press office of the Armenian transport, communication and information technology ministry said on Thursday. 

The guests will meet with their colleagues in Armenia and will sign a number of cooperation memorandums.  

They will also meet with managers at Technology and Science Dynamics, a company producing Armenian tablets and smartphones, as well as with representatives of other IT companies.   

According to the ministry’s press release, Bolivia is interested in importing Armenian tablets and smartphones and signing a number of contracts for importing other Armenian ICT products.  

Technology and Science Dynamics appeared at the Armenian market in 2013 – it offered the first Armenian tablet ArmTeb and the first smartphone ArmPhone to local consumers. 

Later the company got registration in the country’s free economic zone and expanded its production offering its products also to foreign consumers. 

According to preliminary data, more than $3 million has been invested in production of Armenian tablets. --0----
