Rostelecom in Armenia conducts master classes for Armenian students

YEREVAN, December 1. /ARKA/. Specialists of Rostelecom in Armenia are conducting master classes and lectures for students of a number of Armenian universities, the press service of the telecom operator said. It said the lectures are very popular among students, who get acquainted with modern solutions applied in the business environment, with the transition from theory to practice and relevant processes.

Not only various areas of the telecommunications sector, network and digital technologies, optical communication lines, but also  selection of personnel, the behavior during the interview, the right to work, public relations and communications, marketing, sales and service are among the topics.

The company has already organized discussions at the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University and the State University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. In the near future lectures are to take place at the Bryusov State Linguistic University and Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction.

As part of the project, the company collaborates with Ten Armenian Universities, making applied knowledge more accessible to students. 

GNC-ALFA began promotion and sale of broadband Internet, IP-TV and a new generation of IP-telephony in Armenia under the brand of Rostelecom from 2012 December.  The company’s fiber-optic network covers 80% of the territory of Armenia, extending to more than 2,500 km.  The network is connected to the main regional backbones and major traffic exchange sites, as well as international channels via Georgia and Iran. -0-
