US-based SADA Systems to open Global Technology Solutions Center in Armenia

YEREVAN, September 23. /ARKA/. The US-based SADA Systems, specializing in technology consulting, IT services, application development, and managed services, plans to build a Global Technology Solutions Center in Armenia, the Armenian Ministry of High Technology Industry said today, following a meeting between Minister Hakob Arshakyan and SADA Systems founder and Board Chairman Hovik Safoyan.

The minister was said to have stressed the importance of creating such a center in Armenia and the need for clear mechanisms for the inflow of talent, noting also that the global programs of the ministry and the emerging infrastructure are aimed at this important goal.

Referring to the content and strategy of the programs implemented by the ministry, Arshakyan  noted that they are all people-oriented, that everything is done to create new companies, generate good ideas, transfer the experience and corporate culture of Diaspora compatriots to Armenian entrepreneurs, establish creative and business contacts and a better  environment for creative people.

Speaking about the role of the Diaspora, he noted that for mutually beneficial cooperation it is necessary to correctly assess resources and to cooperate on mutually beneficial terms.

Safoyan in turn called the programs and the strategy of the ministry impressive, noting that it has a global vision that is highly valued in the Diaspora.

“It's like fresh air, a new approach that hasn't been there before. The government shows that Armenia is not a country for charity, but a center for creating new companies and opportunities through mutually beneficial cooperation,” Safoyan said.

He noted that the best investment would be the creation of a new enterprise, which will include technical and engineering, professional, management services, assistance, application development.

“The opportunity to get government support in setting up and expanding a company in Armenia is encouraging. Living in the Diaspora, every day we think about our Motherland, every day we return here mentally, we need to witness successful examples. It is very important for SADA Systems to be here, to train talents, industry experts and specialists. The task is not easy, but achievable,”said Safoyan. -0-
